Fan/Blower Speed Controller

Instructions

1. Before using this speed controller please read the instructions that came with your fan/blower to familiarize yourself with its operation.
2. Verify that the Speed Controller’s switch is in the OFF position. Plug the Fan/Blower’s electrical cord into the Fan/Speed Controller’s outlet.
3. Plug the Fan/Speed Controller’s electrical cord into a properly grounded 120 volt AC outlet. *** Note: Any length of grounded extension cord used with this Speed Controller must be rated for 15 Amps.
4. BE SAFE with all electrical equipment. Periodically check the electrical cords connected to the Fan/Blower Speed Controller for signs of overheating. Turn the Fan/Speed Controller OFF and unplug it from its outlet. Then check all electrical connections for corrosion (especially in areas of high humidity) and wire cords for damage. When cords get hot, a meltdown or electrical fire could result.
5. Not for use with brush-less, capacitor run or magnetic motors. Equipment damage may occur.

Safety Warnings and Precautions

1. Observe Work Area Conditions: Do not operate the Fan/Blower Speed Controller in a damp location. Do not expose to rain or snow. Use approved extension cords capable of a 15amp draw. Periodically check the electrical cords connected to the Fan/Blower Speed Controller for signs of overheating. Turn the Fan/Speed Controller OFF and unplug it from its outlet. Then check all electrical connections for corrosion (especially in areas of high humidity) and wire cords for damage. When cords get hot, a meltdown or electrical fire could result.
2. Keep children away from work areas.
3. Store the Fan/Blower Speed Controller in a dry location when not in use.
4. Not for use with brush-less or magnetic motors. Equipment damage may occur.

Maintenance

1. To clean the Fan/Blower Speed Controller make sure it is unplugged and detached from equipment. Wipe the unit off with a clean damp cloth. Never use chemicals or solvents.
2. If the fuse blows, you may be using a fan or blower that uses more current than the Fan/ Blower Speed Controller can deliver. Replace the fuse with a 15amp fuse.
3. Store the fan/Blower speed Controller in a clean and dry location away from insects and pests.

Warranty

Replacement or Repair Warranty: 90 days for defective parts and materials from date of purchase. Proof of purchase required. Warranty does not cover abuse.
